dc.description.abstractThe article discusses a study concerning the application of democratic policing concept in Trinidad and Tobago. It analyzes the assessment of the state of policing and police reform efforts which will be necessary in order for democratic policing to be sustainably implemented. It also contemplates on the role of the country's economy, political and social conditions as determining factors for the enforcement of the policy.
