The properties of Do1,Φ(ℝN) are treated in connection with the φ-Laplacian eigenvalue problem -div (φ(|∇u| ∇u/|∇u|) = λ g(⋅)φ(u) in ℝN where λ ∈ ℝ and g : ℝN → ℝ is measurable.
