We will cover the popularity that genealogical research has gained in recent years and why it has gained so much traction. This would include the influence of the internet and the niche market which it was able to fulfill. This paper will also study the advances in genealogical research which include all of the modern benefits of DNA testing, and the influence it is having globally. The last thing we will do is analyze the criticisms of genetic testing in the market today. The results will reveal that with careful supervision the industry of genetic research can make a great contribution to mankind.
