Deontology and female eudaimonia in the world polity: A Grotian perspective. Journal of Research on Women and Gender, 1(1), pp. 152-168.2375-0944https://hdl.handle.net/10877/12839The last decades of the 20th century witnessed a renewed emphasis on issues of women's rights in the world polity. However, the growing importance of the international economy, with its attendant migratory labor and capital regimes, has increased the potential to exacerbate economic inequities and cultural differences, including those that perpetuate gender inequalities. Using Grotian political theories and post-1989 data from diverse sources, this study analyzes macro-level world polity aspects of international development, gender equality, and the potential for achieving female eudaimonia. The study posits different testable hypotheses and supports these with a multivariate cross-sectional time-series analysis of the data.Text17 pages1 file (.pdf)enwomen's rightsGrotian political theoriesgenderEudaimoniaDeontology and Female Eudaimonia in the World Polity: A Grotian PerspectiveArticle
