This widespread use of technology among youth has led to new problems for school administration. One such problem is cyberbullying, in which digital media is used to intimidate or threaten others. School administrators now face the demanding task of maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning without overstepping their authority when responding to students’ activities in cyberspace. This thesis will examine the elements of effective school policies that have been used to address cyberbullying and explore the boundaries of such policies.
