This field is one of the largest growing in science and is used as a tool in various areas of research. One of the main goals of bioinformaticians, aside from organizing data sets, is the normalization of datasets so that people from various disciplines can take advantage of the available data. Understanding the use and application of bioinformatics in research offers a considerable advantage to scientists.
