Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze current environmental problems of Austin, Texas from a bioregional perspective, and discuss solutions to these problems according to bioregional principles. I intend to assess how the city could be reorganized according to the bioregional paradigm, given the built environment of Austin as it is now in 1997.
