|This book sets forth the connections between Lyndon Baines Johnson, 36th President of the United States, and the unique relationship he had with his Alma Mater, now Texas State University-San Marcos. The story of LBJ's relationship with the University is told from his earliest days as a student to his last visit to campus, just 6 days before his death in January, 1973.
