dc.description.abstract | This conference presentation examines ways to infuse creativity into the applied research process. We draw from creativity literature in philosophy, pragmatism, management, organizational psychology, environmental psychology, and education. We use our experience supervising masters level applied research. The presentation examines a state called impasse, which often stalls research progress, definitions of creativity, person an process factors associated with creativity, the environment that fosters creativity and implications for student research. | |
