dc.description.abstract | The primary purpose of this quality improvement project was to correct the knowledge deficit and improve compliance regarding the identified inconsistencies in the current improper blood culture collection process by implementing a standardized education protocol to improve the blood culture collection process at Crane Memorial Hospital. The quality improvement project consisted of two aims: 1. To evaluate and correct the existing knowledge deficit related to the improper blood culture collection process. 2. To study the effectiveness of an evidence-based standardized education protocol to improve the blood culture collection process. | |
