dc.description.abstractData show that minority businesses do not grow at the same rate as non-minority businesses. This report outlines initial insights gained regarding why this difference exists. Based on qualitative and quantitative data collected from minority and non-minority business owners in Texas, four primary findings emerge that help to highlight the challenges minority-owned businesses encounter when seeking to grow.
