Abstract
This poster presentation outlines the collaboration between the academic community involved in this collaborative project, including representatives from a student-run, free, online literary journal as well as university librarians. A main focus is the potential impact on the research community - both scholarly and public - who will benefit from accessing the previously unpublished audiovisual materials. Details include how to ensure this remain a fully-open and accessible resource for anyone interested in digital humanities research. Considerations include budget and costs, digitization of outdated media, long-term preservation and storage, copyright, metadata, and creating a user-friendly, searchable website using open source tools.
