LloydThis study is designed to show the development of art work in relation to the holidays, which has been presented to children of the elementary schools in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout the years of public school education, schools have observed the various American special days; and it is hoped that the stories and art work found in this book will inspire children to a deeper patriotism and a truer knowledge and appreciation of their country's history, festivals, and achievements. This work is compiled with the purpose of presenting simple stories and illustrations true to history and customs observed by the American people especially adapted for use in schools. As a result or experimentation in the field of art, the illustrations have been developed from the creative expression in drawing of the children in the fourth grade.Item Comprehension Difficulties of Seventh Grade Spanish-Speaking Pupils in Texas History(1949-08) Bradshaw, Harvey Lee; Rogers, J.
